The brief.
Erzieherprüfung had already turned exam preparation into a successful physical card set. The challenge was to translate that experience into a digital product that made studying feel simple, motivating and genuinely enjoyable — allowing aspiring educators to practice quizzes, organize content into personalized learning sets and understand their progress without making exam preparation feel overwhelming.
The Challenge
Making exam prep feel less like studying
The challenge was not simply digitizing the existing card set. Exam preparation is repetitive, content-heavy and often stressful, so the experience needed to make learning feel approachable and motivating while still supporting serious preparation. Students also needed a simple way to understand what they knew, identify gaps and decide what to focus on next without having to manage their own complex study system.

Designing for progress and motivation
I transformed the physical card concept into an interactive learning experience built around short quizzes, immediate feedback and visible progression. The product helps learners understand what they've mastered and where they need more practice while reducing the friction of deciding what to study next. Light gamification and rewarding interactions make repetition more engaging without distracting from the core purpose of preparing effectively for the exam.
